The purpose of the Advanced Diploma in Real Estate (via distance education) is to develop the student’s knowledge of real estate. The programme comprises a focused curriculum to prepare the student for a career in real estate by synthesising market principles and applying valuation approaches. It provides a comprehensive understanding of real estate, offering a global and South African perspective, and emphasises competence, integrity, and ethics in a professional environment.
The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners with a wide range of vocational and industry-specific intellectual competencies, knowledge and practical skills. This will enable learners to critically explain and apply logistics and supply chain management principles, processes and procedures. The qualification provides a range of fundamental knowledge and competencies in business communication, information systems, project management, general management principles, and specific logistics and supply chain management principles, making it relevant and responsive to the needs of the South African logistics industry.

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of key business functions and be equipped with skills in accounting, communication, human resource management, project management, decision-making, risk management, and marketing to effectively contribute to organisational operations.
