Description:

The purpose of the one-year Advanced Diploma in Real Estate (via distance education) is to develop the student’s knowledge of real estate. The programme comprises a focused curriculum to prepare the student for a career in real estate by synthesising market principles and applying valuation approaches. It provides a comprehensive understanding of real estate, offering a global and South African perspective, and emphasises competence, integrity, and ethics in a professional environment.

Admission Requirements:

An applicant should have one of the following: • National Diploma Real Estate qualification on the old NQF level 6; or an equivalent qualification on New NQF level 7/Old NQF level 6 with related real estate experience; • Preparatory study, an entrance course and examination may be required; • Selection is based on academic merit and available places; additional criteria may apply. • Final admission requirements will be set by the department from time to time.
