The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners with a wide range of vocational and industry-specific intellectual competencies, knowledge and practical skills. This will enable learners to critically explain and apply logistics and supply chain management principles, processes and procedures. The qualification provides a range of fundamental knowledge and competencies in business communication, information systems, project management, general management principles, and specific logistics and supply chain management principles, making it relevant and responsive to the needs of the South African logistics industry.

The purpose of the Higher Certificate in Local Economic Development (LED) is to prepare students for a career in LED. This programme will develop theoretical knowledge and practical competency and skills on NQF 5 in LED to enable students in their working environment. It further prepares students who do not comply with the minimum statutory or institutional admission requirements to access Diploma and/or Degree studies, or students who want to explore various career path options relating to LED. At the end of the programme, students will be able to understand and apply basic LED principles, make decisions in the LED context, interpret relevant information, and effectively work with various role players in the LED profession.

The programme comprises a focused curriculum to prepare the student for a career in real estate by synthesising market principles and applying valuation approaches. It provides a comprehensive understanding of real estate, offering a global and South African perspective, and emphasises competence, integrity, and ethics in a professional environment.

The purpose of the one-year Advanced Diploma in Financial Markets is to develop your knowledge of the discipline of financial markets and trading. The programme comprises a focused curriculum to prepare you for a career in financial markets. Mastering of the curriculum will give you the ability to synthesise financial market principles and apply financial instruments in a professional manner. Fundamental knowledge of global investments relevant to the financial market industry will be gained, enabling you to work in today’s world of professional financial markets.
