About Course

Description:

The purpose of the SLP Introduction to business Law is to acquire basic knowledge and reflective understanding of the prescribed substantive law. Students will be introduced to basic requirements for a valid contract and the consequences of contracts

Admission Requirements:

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with certificate endorsement is required for admission.

Course Curriculum

  1. Explain the basic principles and sources of business law.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of legal terminology and concepts.
  3. Identify the requirements for a valid contract.
  4. Explain contractual rights, obligations, and remedies.
  5. Analyse the consequences of breach of contract.
  6. Apply legal principles to business-related scenarios.
  7. Demonstrate awareness of ethical and legal responsibilities in business.
  8. Understand the impact of technology and 4IR on business law practices.
