The Short Learning Programme in Law and Legal Technology, offered through UJ Digital, equips professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to navigate the growing intersection of law, artificial intelligence and digital tools.
As technology reshapes legal practice, this fully online, one-semester programme explores how tools such as generative AI, legal analytics, document automation and e-discovery are applied across areas like legal research, contract analysis and compliance.
Students will develop the ability to evaluate the risks, limitations, and opportunities of legal technology, while learning how to integrate these tools into existing workflows in a responsible and effective manner. The programme covers the following:
