About Course

Description:

The purpose of the SLP Introduction to business Law is to acquire basic knowledge and reflective understanding of the prescribed substantive law. Students will be introduced to basic requirements for a valid contract and the consequences of contracts.

Admission Requirements:

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with certificate endorsement is required for admission.

Course Curriculum

Understand the basic concepts and sources of business law.

Identify and explain the essential elements required for a valid contract.

Analyse different types of contracts and their legal implications.

Understand the consequences of valid, void, voidable, and illegal contracts.

Examine remedies available in case of breach of contract.

Apply legal principles to real-life and business-related situations through reflection and case studies.
