About Course

Description:

The purpose of the short-learning programme (SLP) ‘Media trends and techniques for Public Relations’ is to equip the student with knowledge to critically analyse the use of traditional and digital media in Public Relations. Professionalism is important in the digital post-truth age, where content on online platforms is often not trusted, given the rise of artificial intelligence, deep fakes and disinformation that negatively impact strategic communication disciplines, democracy and the social good.

Admission Requirements:

NQF level 4 or equivalent or a matric certificate.
