This short learning programme on MS Teams for the workplace aims to enable you to proficiently use MS Teams in the workplace to communicate and collaborate. The SLP includes the core features of MS Teams that are typically used in the workplace.

The purpose of this introductory interdisciplinary short-learning programme on the United Nations’ 17 SDGs is to provide a basic understanding of and context to the SDGs (from South African and African perspectives), the reasons for their existence, how they fit together in a comprehensive framework, as well as critiques levelled against the SDG Agenda. The course further considers the alignment of the SDGs with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and South Africa’s National Development Plan, which both preceded the SDGs. This SLP will not only raise awareness of the SDGs, but also provide the introductory knowledge needed to engage in a more informed way with sustainability, whether in a work context or in society generally.

By completing African Insights, you will have an appreciation of Africa, including its riches, inheritances and great ideas and knowledge systems. You will have conceptual tools to think more critically about the issues of contemporary significance to Africa, and you will have interacted with some of the many African thinkers and writers through their texts.

Artificial Intelligence in the 4IR encourages you to reflect on your role in a world being transformed by AI-driven technologies.

The purpose of the programme is to provide an understanding of the main regulatory framework governing animal law in South Africa and further analyse the gaps, realities and opportunities for providing greater protection for animals in law and policy.
