By identifying how companies can successfully implement Privacy and Data Protection, ensuring compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The key focus of this SLP is the creation of a Privacy and Data Protection strategy by organisations, aligned with the organisational business objectives and corporate strategy, as well as to explore best practices regarding Privacy and Data Protection policy drafting and implementation in South Africa.

The learning programme equips African policymakers, legislators, and researchers with the skills to develop and implement effective 4IR strategies. It combines theoretical foundations with practical case studies from national and supranational experiences.

Through focused modules, students will gain expertise in cost and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation. The training equips students with the competencies required to analyse, plan, and implement performance strategies, thereby preparing them to excel in ACCA Performance Management exams and to contribute effectively to organisational strategy and control functions.

The SLP on Preparation for ACCA: Financial Reporting (S3C05O) focuses on building proficiency in financial reporting standards and practices. This SLP prepares students for ACCA assessments and provides essential insights into preparing, analysing, and interpreting financial statements, ensuring strong foundational knowledge in global financial reporting. Participants in this SLP will develop a comprehensive foundation in financial reporting standards and practices. By engaging with complex financial statements, students will enhance their ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret financial reports in line with global standards. The curriculum aims to deepen students' understanding of financial disclosures, ensuring their readiness for ACCA Financial Reporting exams and equipping them with skills vital for roles in corporate accounting and financial analysis.
